To round up its fifth and final collaboration series with fashion labels, Oliver Peoples has teamed up with TAKAHIROMIYASHITA The Soloist on a unique collection for Fall/Winter 2013. In the previous four collections, Japanese designer Takahiro Miyashita and Oliver Peoples challenged the standard of traditional eyewear with their innovative designs and imagination. The first two pieces to be released from the collection are the Woody and John, two styles that combine acetate colors on a crystal frame front with a mahogany temple, complemented by indigo CR-39 lenses. The Woody features a rectangular shape, while the John has the vintage-inspired P3 shape.
The Woody and John are currently available for purchase exclusively in Asia and will arrive in limited quantities at the Oliver Peoples SoHo, Malibu and Sunset boutiques later this month.
